What is your passion? What are you interested in? Whatever it is ... whether it is dance, drama, music, writing, soccer, animals, oceanography, etc ... picture it in your mind right now.
Hold on to it for a second.

What if you were able to pursue that passion in a way that made a difference in someone else’s life? What if you were able to pursue your dreams in a way that could help, in a way that could spread a message, in a way that could work toward a better future for us all?

The Young People’s Decade of Commitment is a call for young people to do just that. It aims to bridge the gap between talking about what you would love to do and actually doing what you love to do. So, ask yourself what do you love to do? What is your passion?

“Learn about everything in the world, but find out if there is something very specific that you feel connected to, whether it is one country, or one type of situation in the world...” explained actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador, Angelina Jolie, in an interview with the founder of the Young People’s Decade of Commitment, “and dedicate yourself to making a difference to that specific area.”
